Up for sale is an exceptional piece of American industrial craftsmanship: a vintage Black & Decker No. 460 (Type D) 1/4" Heavy-Duty "Holgun" electric drill. Manufactured by The Black & Decker Mfg. Co. in Towson, Maryland, this collectible tool features a robust die-cast aluminum housing built to survive generations.

Unlike standard 1/4" vintage drills that spin at a rapid 1,700 RPM, the “RARE” Model 460 is heavily geared down to 600 RPM using a triple-gear reduction. This translates to roughly three times the torque of a normal 1/4" drill, packing the heavy-duty driving power of a larger tool into a compact pistol grip frame.
