Offered for your consideration is a MINOLTA AF ZOOM 35-80mm 1:4(22)-5.6 lens, c.1998. This zoom lens originally came with our MINOLTA MAXXUM QTsi 35mm SLR camera but can be used on a number of others. The MAXXUM lenses are also suitable for A-mount DSLR’s, most notably the popular SONY Alpha cameras.

This MINOLTA lens is in clean, excellent overall condition. The body is in great shape with only one very tiny nick. More importantly, the optics (8 elements in 8 groups) look to be free of scratches, mildew, or fungus. Plus the original front lens cap, rear lens cap, and lens hood are also included and are in great shape as well.

This lens has been in our family since new, and was never exposed to temperature extremes or unfit conditions, so it will make a nice addition to your collection.  I don’t have an A-mount SLR/DSLR camera right now, but feel the lens should be in good working order since it was when last used before being safely stored away. Nevertheless, it's been decades since the manufacturer's warranty expired, so I can offer no guarantees.
