Up for sale is a classic, highly collectible vintage 1967 Johnny Astro Moon Probe space age toy set by Topper Toys. This iconic piece from the space-race era utilized a fan-powered controller to maneuver light balloons across a simulated lunar landing landscape.

Condition & Completeness Details:

Functional Status (Wiring & Control Issues): Untested and sold strictly as-is for spares or repair. As shown in the close-up photos, there are a couple of wires disconnected at one end. It will require repair/reassembly and minor soldering to get the unit working again.

Cosmetic Condition: The main red base and the green translucent plastic control dashboard are clean with readable gauge markings and no major cracks. The yellow fan head is physically intact. The blue molded plastic moon surface is bright and fits perfectly into the box (it does have a minor crack but doesn't affect structure.

Box Condition: The original cardboard retail box remains brightly colored with great vintage graphics. It shows expected age wear, creased flaps, and corner scuffs typical for a 1960s toy, but critically retains its original blue cardboard inner packaging trays/inserts which hold everything securely.

What’s Included: Comes with the original retail box with inner trays, the red main control base unit, the black joystick handles, the yellow fan head, the molded blue plastic lunar mountain/crater landing pad, two original black wire landing gear frames, launching pad templates, and the original paper instruction sheets.
