English antique sterling silver bowl inset with a 1698 half crown coin.

The bowl is hallmarked from London in 1893 with the makers mark being that of Samuel Jacob.

Bowl in perfect order with no damage or defects, the coin used would have been a circulated coin when introduced to the bowl almost 200 years after the coin was produced, hopefully for coin collectors you can see and grade the condition of the coin from these images.

Bowl measures 94mm in diameter and stands 47mm tall.
