1920's UNOPENED CANADIAN PACIFIC RAILWAY PLAYING CARDS BLU TAX STAMP USPCCO MINT

As you can see, this is a mint, unopened, still sealed 1926 USPCC Canadian Pacific Railway deck of playing cards.

This Canadian Pacific Railway deck features a rectangular blue United States Federal Internal Revenue Tax Stamp, rather than a Canadian one. The text "PLAYING CARDS" across the top and "INT. REV. SER." (Internal Revenue Service) across the bottom uniquely identifies it as an official U.S. government revenue stamp. It was incredibly common for American companies like the United States Playing Card Company (USPCC) to print custom souvenir decks for Canadian railways and seal them with U.S. stamps if they were originally intended for sale or distribution on American routes, observation cars, or booking offices. The large '10 CENTS' inside the oval frame dates this deck to the late 1920's.

The blue US Internal Revenue tax stamp is crisp and unbroken, the thick, glassine cellophane is intact and brittle, the original gold USPCC gold medallion is firmly attached, the box is a heavy blue two piece cardboard telescopic box and very clean and shows no signs of abuse.

The box features the iconic gold lettering with the iconic 1920's CPR logo.
