ITEM DESCRIPTION

Genuine Rocketfire Total 60's Strat bridge pickup, the bridge unit from Rocketfire's well-regarded classic vintage-voiced Strat set. Rocketfire is a small US boutique winder, and the Total 60's is their "meat and potatoes" vintage Strat set, built with staggered Alnico 5 magnets, Formvar magnet wire, a Forbon bobbin, and cloth-covered leads.

Please read, this pickup is being sold for parts / repair / rewind:

• The coil is broken (open). On my meter it reads in the megohm range instead of the expected ~6.3–6.5k, which means the winding is broken somewhere. It does not work as-is and needs to be rewound.
• This makes it an ideal base for anyone who can rewind a coil, or a great parts/project piece. You get a genuine Rocketfire Forbon bobbin, staggered Alnico 5 magnets, and the original cover to build from.

Sold honestly as a non-working, rewind-ready core. If you've been wanting to get into rewinding, or want a genuine Rocketfire bobbin and magnet set to bring back to life, this is for you.

Condition

Sold as-is for parts / repair / rewind. Non-working due to a broken coil. Cosmetically it shows honest age and use. Please review the photos carefully, as they show the exact condition of the actual item.

To the USA: Under current US regulations, shipments from Japan must be sent with import duties prepaid by the seller (DDP).
