This cable adapts the Supermicro's "BLUE" 12V-EPS connectors into
a specially arrayed set of adapters and wire sizes to spread out the voltage draw amongst the "FOUR" 150W local connections to provide the 600 Watts needed to power a (12+4) Pin otherwise called 12VHPWR/12V-2x6, which Data Center compute cards and GPU's require for proper operation. If power draw from a 600W card is not spread out between the four "BLUE" 150W power connections, the board can be destroyed, if the card is not smart enough to detect the lack of avaible power. If your Card has a lower 450W draw, a cheaper three "BLUE" connection cable need or even two "BLUE connection cable for the 300W cards with much less RAM can be made for you. All you need to do is ask for the cable you require.

*This cable is made with materials manufactured in Pennsylvania, Florida & New Jersey. Rated @ 650W per 12V DC. The wire is rated much higher. The rating for the Molex terminal specifications are used to rate the cables. It is 16AWG into 18AWG UL listed Oxygen free, tin plated copper wire, for extra corrosion resistance. The Chinese wire is not the same quality as UL rated wire, by US standards. It has less copper strands and a thicker outer coating, that makes it look the same. Photos of that wire is posted in the listing.
