Gentlemen!

We have had the intention to accept Mr. Hallgarten's offer by making an order of diff. articles in your line of business some time ago, but did not like to break up the trade we have had with other druggists there. This time we send to you the included list of wanted goods to try whether our change will be of any advantage to us. All we demand of you is articles of the very best quality at reasonable prices, to enable us of repeating a similar order every six or eight months. We suppose that there will be no difficulty of your drawing upon us through the house of Alsop & Valp. whom to at the same time you can ship the goods; but if there should be a vessel up bound for Caldera, which occasionally occurs, it would be a great deal more convenient to us, by your shipping them to that port. Please send the bill of lading to Mssrs. Siewerts y C.a in Caldera (american consul) whether being shipped to that place or to Valparaiso.

  • Instruments & Packaging:

International Buyers:

We are unable to lie on customs forms, and require that the correct amount is declared for our own insurance purposes. If you've already paid tax upfront on eBay and get charged again, please keep the evidence and get in touch - we will see what we can do.

Payments:

Please make a payment within 5 working days of receiving an invoice. Not doing so may result in an unpaid item claim being opened and the item being relisted. Please get in touch if you know a payment will be delayed and we can work together to come to an amicable agreement wherever possible.

Queries, questions and getting in touch:

We only take items down if there is an error in the listing, or if they have been re-listed in error. This helps to ensure our bidders and repeat buyers have confidence in our auctions.

Damage:

We use additional stiffeners and waterproof packaging to protect our items. Thus far, we have never had an item that has been received as damaged. However, should this happen, please keep any packaging - as well as the item - as evidence. Please also take photographs. Failure to do so may impact on our postal insurance and subsequently impact upon the eligibility of your refund.
