It has a nice flat, sturdy attached crystal-pedestal base, sits nice and flat.
This was purchased in 1982 at a fund raiser for artists at the same Art glass studio at the Pike Place market in Seattle Washington, where are the famous Glass artist Dale Chihuly taught glass-art, and made his Glass Sculptures.
I paid $300 in 1982.
This is a very heavy piece, solid, clear Crystal glass.
I have gotten tons of compliments over the years with this piece.
I am selling this because I am downsizing my home and I do not have space for all of my collectibles.
It glows and picks up the colors around in it’s environment and is absolutely stunning!
I am hoping to find a great new home for it.
There are no chips, cracks, or crazing. Perfect shape after all these years!
You can use it as a votive with a large candle, or with the small lamp base with a flicker bulb in it. [included with the sculpture]
