This is an original 1910 letter signed by Charles Morris Woodford, Resident Commissioner of the British Solomon Islands.
The letter is a reference for George R. Bannerman. In the letter, Woodford mentions Bannerman's assistance with accounts - "especially those relating to the repatriation of the Kanakas from Queensland, in a most efficient manner."

This is a unique and interesting historical piece. The letter measures 33.5 x 21.5 cm. There is some foxing and edge wear/splits as per the photos but is complete, legible, and presentable.
