A great gift for the Gemini in your life, this item is a vintage suncatcher manufactured by Blenko Glass Company, a prominent glass manufacturer out of West Virginia that has been in business for over 100 years and is well-known for their vibrant, beautiful colors. This suncatcher depicts the sign of Gemini, the twins Castor and Pollux, of Greek mythology.    It represents the month of May 21 – June 21.  Gemini is the symbol of duality, communication, intellect, adaptability, and versatility.  

This handcrafted collectible is a beautiful blue color of high-quality glass, a little lighter than cobalt, measuring a little over 3 inches in diameter and about 4 inches when including the metal holders.  The glass is quite thick for its size being ½ inch and is lines with a metal ring for extra protection from breakage.  You will notice bubbles, lines or other marks left by the craftsman. They are not flaws but are caused by the handblown process.  The front has a few chips and I am not sure if they are a result of the processing or not.  This piece was part of a chain holding other zodiac signs.  I have a few others for sale with this one. 

NOTE:  The color is closest to the main photo or the last few.  Also there are 2 rings for tying it, one on the top and one on the bottom.  I'm not sure why some are missing in the photos, but they are there.
