Only 90,000 of these coins were minted.  According to the NGC website, only the 1805 was a lower mintage.  While many of us are familiar with the 8 Reales, the single Real is a much more unique coin.  NGC says this coin was cleaned, but when examining it, it is impossible to see any scuffs or evidence of any form of harsh cleaning.  If anything it looks as though this coin was wiped.  This is a serious coin for serious collectors, and an excellent specimen to add to your collection.
