This is not brand new. The factory tape on the box was not sealed so I opened this myself to check it out. The coupon is not present inside. Box also has evidence that this may have leaked a bit at some point. No battery corrosion present. I tested this and everything appears to work correctly including the light. One issue to note is the blue button on the left that plays melody 2 can stick sometimes. You just have to jiggle it a bit to unstick it. Still works fine. I also observed that this can take a 12v power cord but it's not included and I don't think it originally came with one either (not mentioned on the box). Otherwise it takes 3 AA batteries.

Still has the original Hills price stickers which I think is very cool. If you are unfamiliar, Hills was a store chain that was basically Target before Target.
