Wir präsentieren das Point-7 Sitztrapez. Kommentar vom Wind Lounge Team: Das Point-7 Windsurf Sitztrapez ist wie alle Sitztrapeze recht speziell. Denn der Druckpunkt, welchen der Windsurfer auf das Segel ausübt, ist wesentlich tiefer, als bei herkömmlichen Trapezen. Somit werden längere Trapeztampen und ggf. auch tiefere Gabelbäume gefahren. Letztlich bieten Hüfttrapeze klare Performancevorteile. Denn sie ermöglichen es, den Körperschwerpunkt tief zu halten, während man den Gabelbaum „hoch“ fährt. Insgesamt hat man als Windsurfer so bedeutend mehr Kontrolle. Ausnahmen bestätigen aber die Regel und einige PWA Fahrer, insbesondere der Point-7 Chef Andrea Cucchi, setzen auf Sitztrapeze. Der Vorteil ist ganz klar die Schonung des Rückens. Das Segel trägt den geübten Sitztrapez-Fahrer fast vollständig und Belastungen auf der LWS werden minimiert. Gleichzeitig können die Gurte, welche um die Beine gehen, störend sein. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist top und dieses Sitztrapez wurde vom Point-7 Chef Andrea Cucchi bestens entwickelt. The hook can be put at a higher place on the body for strong wind, and lowered for light wind to achieve extra power. The leg straps can also be widened or tightened according to water conditions. They can be tightened hard to have a more seated stance in light wind. Loosening them up in wavy conditions, will allow the legs to be more free to follow the water surface. The padded hook, now has a quick release system that will allow you to wear the harness more comfortably. It can be opened with one hand in case of emergency.
