Very old violin , with a beautiful 1 part back. There is a label inside, but it is not readable. The wooden case, which might be original to the violin reads "Musikinstrumenten Fabril L. Jacob Königl. Hoflieferant Stuttgart". The instrument needs repair, cleaning and service. There are cracks at the front and side. (see photos) . The back is nicely flamed. The overal length is : 59,5cm; (23,5 inches) length of the body:35,9cm. (14 1/8inch)
