ZKM (Plant imeni Kalinina)
Floral Scroll Pattern - Melchior (Nickel Silver)
Soviet Union Era, 10 Pieces

This vintage set of Soviet-era flatware was produced by the ZKM plant, featuring a classic floral and scroll design characteristic of mid-century Russian tableware. The pieces are crafted from Melchior, a high-quality copper-nickel alloy (nickel silver) traditionally valued in Eastern Europe for its silver-like appearance and structural durability. This material was the standard for fine Soviet table settings, often featuring a stamped factory price on the reverse as seen on these examples.

• Marked "ЗКМЕЛЬХ" (ZKM Melchior) on reverse of handles
• Includes authentic Soviet price stamp "Ц1Р 15К" (1 Ruble 15 Kopecks)
• Set includes: 6 spoons, 4 dinner knives - 10 pieces total
• Design features intricate relief floral scrollwork on tapered handles

Condition: Good vintage condition with heavy tarnish and surface oxidation throughout. Most pieces exhibit a dark patina consistent with age and long-term storage. Spoon bowls show light surface scratches from use but no deep pitting. Knife blades are secure in handles with minimal wear to the cutting edges. No bends, dents, or structural repairs present. No monograms.
