This is an original antique print, taken from The Encyclopaedia Britannica (Thirteenth Edition, Volume 3), published in 1926.
The plate is titled: “Bread Making” and features an early 20th-century illustration of industrial baking equipment and processes, such as the moulding machine—an engaging piece of visual history from a period of mechanised food production.
The reverse is black, and the print has been carefully removed from the original book. Some minor age discolouration and light marks are visible, in keeping with a print over 80 years old, which contributes to its authentic vintage charm when framed.
