This is an original antique colour plate from The Encyclopaedia Britannica, Thirteenth Edition, Volume I, published in 1926.
The plate is titled: "America – Artefacts", and features carefully illustrated items of early American archaeological interest, including clay figures, gold beakers, a painted clay vessel, and more—perfectly suited for lovers of anthropology and cultural history.
The reverse is blank, and the print has been carefully removed from its source volume. It is ready for mounting and framing.
There is light age discolouration and minor paper marks, in keeping with its over 80 years of age, adding a touch of authentic vintage charm to any display. (Please see all photos.)
Approx. Dimensions: 8" × 11"
A beautiful and educational piece, ideal for display in homes, cafés, restaurants, libraries, study rooms, museums, shops, and offices
