This piece has been used in an office setting for many years. It does show some wear and minor cracks in the porcelain but the cracks do not affect the performance of the roller. In fact, it adds character and shows that it was a valuable piece of office equipment back in the day.

The Vintage Porcelain Postage Stamp / Envelope Moistener Roller by Frank A. Weeks Mfg Company of New York is a unique desktop collectible item that showcases a piece of American craftsmanship. Made of porcelain, this roller was designed to moisten envelopes and stamps to ensure a proper seal and adhesion.
