Sterling Silver Nursing Badge, Little Company of Mary Limerick St Johns Hospital

A very scarce Irish sterling silver & enamel nursing badge from The Little Company of Mary in Limerick, St John's Hospital, Hallmarked from Dublin in 1989, the engraving is earlier than the manufacture date of the badge so most probably it was a replacement and then engraved with what it would have said when the first one was issued.

 Engraving to rear reads Brigid Finucane May 1970. In good order and measures 29mm top to bottom.
