A Touch of Glass Chris Lucas pink green blue Isle of Wight vase.
There certainly is a touch of class to the iridescent shades that sing when the light hits this vase. The green gives hints of flowers and grasses with the blue showing some movement into a cloudy, cherry blossom like sky. Or at least that's my interpretation of it but it is art.
The Lucas stamp remains attached to the bottom, albeit faintly, showing the all too familar shape of the Isle of Wight, home of some of the finest decorative glass production. I've included quite a few of it as you can see that rainbow shimmer to the glaze quite nicely there. This vessel is a good size for a vase and has a rounded base that does sit flat, as you can see in the pictures, and really would make a beautiful floral arrangement pop but works equally well empty as a decorative piece. Rest assured it will be very well packed for transit.
