This is a fascinating historical souvenir set titled 'Royal Opera House Covent Garden: A History from 1732'. Housed in a red cloth-effect folder with a gold gilt royal crest, this collection includes a concise history booklet by Ellenor Handley and Martin Kinna, six high-quality black and white prints of historical engravings showing the theatre's various incarnations (including the 1856 fire), and a large reproduction playbill from July 12, 1833, featuring Mademoiselle Taglioni.
