Despite some mild shortcomings, you can't get anything close
to it for the money. Captures and recordings with good lighting are
clean and fairly high quality. Eyeballing it, the resolution appears to
be native at 1280x720. The included snap on hook and magnet tools are a
nice bonus, and the neck is sturdy and long.
I primarily use
VLC; other software sees an "Endoscope" video capture device as well.
On OS X, it seems to work fine at 1280x720(~24fps), 1024x768(30fps), and
640x480(30fps). On Windows 7 with Microsoft's builtin drivers, at
1280x720 it claimed 7.5fps, but I didn't explore fixes or drivers
because my primary use is with my mac laptop.
