THIS IS CORRECT LENGTH OR HEIGHT OF STUD FOR FACTORY BIG BLOCK HEADS TO CLEAR THE STOCK COVERS... MOST ARE TOO LONG OR TOO TALL!
A couple are new Elgin and others lightly used--all same stock height 1.750-1.765 effective stud length (not over all length)--this is from base of the stud to top--does not include the length under the base that spins into head..
