Wing Commander C.F. (Bunny) Currant DSO DFC*
Pilot Officer Currant, No.605 Squadron, was shot down near Arras on May 22nd. He made a forced landing,
burned his Hurricane and returned to his Squadron. Until the 7th September he was at Drem in Scotland,
then at Croydon. Awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross on 8th October 1940 and a Bar to DFC 15th November 1940.
Took temporary command of No.605 Squadron on 1st November 1940
