This exquisite set of 6 china plates
was made for Tiffany & Co, New York
by the English Cauldon China company
between 1910 to 1930. They are part of
what is known as the T-series. This version
is pattern T 1622 or T3246. The pattern does
not have a name and is a copy of a Cauldon
pattern from 1810. The plates are gently scalloped,
10 1/4” wide, and feature a narrow gilt & white
outer laurel leaf border with a broad beige ground
inner border with gilt & white oak leaves, and
flower heads. There are three areas with different
brightly colored floral bouquets along the inner
boarder. The effect is stunning. These plates are
in excellent used vintage condition and exhibit signs
of normal careful use. There are minor utensil marks
on several plates that are visible when angled
towards a light source. Sale supports Vermont's
PuppeTree. Thank you and please check our
Support Store for soup or salad bowls in this
pattern.
