Rose colored antique tassel fringe trim
of passementerie traditionally used in upholstery
and drapery design. It features ornate twisted
bullion ropes arranged in decorative scallops,
punctuated by full hanging tassels.
This trim was taken off an upholstered
sofa we bought used in Brooklyn, NY in the
1980s. So we've had this trim for 40 years
and before that I would guess the sofa
was from the 1940s. This is 4 3/4 yards
long and hangs down 6". Features a thick
tassel every 7" with 2 swags or rope and
behind that thick fringe. Another exact piece
of this same trim is available in a second listing
if you need more than 4 3/4 yards. Great trim for
curtains or upholstery in a maroon color
almost 90 years old. Very good condition
no stains or tears or holes. Sale supports
