2014 Ford Focus Estate Titanium Navigator 1.6 Tdci **Spares Or Repair**
Runs and drives, I’m still using it for a 30 mile commute every day but selling as spares or repair as it’s got a coolant problem. If driving continuously it’s fine and temp gauge stays at halfway but as soon as you sit idle for a long period of time in traffic etc it’ll start to overheat even with the cooling fan running and the heater turns cold, get back up to speed again and temp drops back to normal and heater comes back. It doesn’t appear to be losing any coolant as I’ve not had to top it up. I’ve replaced the thermostat but this hasn’t cured the problem, it could be water pump, radiator, egr cooler or even head gasket but I’m not prepared to keep throwing money at it to find out. Ideal if you can do the work yourself or could be broken for parts.
Couple of other bad points, sat nav never seams to find signal, one of the rear park sensors is a bit temperamental and few marks around the bodywork as shown in the pictures.
