Rare Unassembled Kit

The Tiffany "Summer & Winter" car refers to an iconic late-19th-century refrigerator car built under Joel Tiffany's 1877 patent. Designed to preserve perishable goods year-round, it utilized a specialized insulation system and overhead ice bunkers to regulate temperatures through changing seasonal extremes
 

The specific reference to "Binkley models" usually points back to Binkley Models / Red Ball. Red Ball, a classic model railroad manufacturer from decades past, was highly regarded for its highly detailed, early-prototype freight car kits.
  • The Construction: These vintage HO scale craftsman kits featured a hybrid of materials, incorporating real wood frames and floors alongside beautifully printed or silk-screened cardboard sides.
  • The Look: The kits accurately modeled the early truss-rod configuration, authentic external end vents, and bold historical lettering typical of the prototype.

Terms of Sale

Return Reason: Buyer changed mind/remorse/ordered by mistake.  Keep in mind, before returning, the seller has advised the buyer they will not be refunded for the original shipping costs paid for by the seller where seller offers free shipping. This will be deducted from the refund. A prepaid return label will be provided for returns.  If a new item is returned opened, used or damaged there will be additional deductions of up to 50% as allowed by ebay.  Thank you
