AI Google Overview of rarity -  “While an exact global population is not officially published, it is well documented by numismatists that only a very small, finite number (estimated in the dozens to possibly low hundreds) of uncut Western Exchange Fire & Marine Insurance Company sheets survive today”

This beautifully engraved series of notes issued by the Western Exchange Fire & Insurance Co. of Bishop Hill, Omaha City Nebraska has long been a favorite with collectors. These 1857 dated notes from the Nebraska Territory chronicle the US Westward expansion with scenes of American Indians, trains and steamboats.

With each passing year, a fewer & fewer choice uncut sheets remain. These handsome notes are typically cut from the sheet and offered individually at a premium price. We’re pleased to offer this scarce fully original, uncut sheet of four notes to our many eBay customers.

We photographed this sheet of $1, $2, $3 and $5 denomination notes under natural lighting to assist you with your evaluation. Additionally the photos zoom in quite well, allowing you to view these engraved notes under extreme magnification. This historic 165 year old sheet will be carefully packaged and sent insured via USPS with postal tracking.
