A very beautiful rare Paisley Shawl pattern handblown in stunning colours on a green base ground with red, blue, silver and white in the swirls of the paisley pattern design. Very elegant and stylish piece of Art Deco.

This top of the range early Monart Glass vase is shape D VII size produced in the mid 1920’s into early 1930’s. The base has the polished round pontil mark in the centre that shows it was created by Monart glass but no original label.

Excellent condition overall except for a very shallow small chip on the outer top rim edge (it shows in photo number 5) and with a few production flaws only but these are a result of the technique used to create this amazing pattern swirls within a handblown piece of fine art. They show mainly as slight bubbles/ dents on the surface which has a textured feel to the surface of vase due to the patterned design.

Made in Perthshire Scotland at Moncrieffe Factory by the highly successful family business started in 1920’s,

Please see all the photos as part of the full condition report before purchase and be aware that there are some extra white looking reflections on the photos mainly low down on the right hand side of vase, as it’s difficult to take the photos without any reflective impact! Please ask any questions before purchase.
