Vintage WW2 scratch built wooden model of a Minelaying cruiser ship depicting the unique HMS Adventure (M23), a specialised minelaying cruiser operated by the British Royal Navy during interwar period and throughout World War II.
Hand-made with wood construction with some wire and metal details.
We understand this was built by the late owners grandfather is 1942 for his grandson
It measures 28cm (11") in length.

Text 'LAYER' written on the bow. Relative to its primary military function as a minelayer.
In very good overall condition, some minor tarnish to metal parts and losses to grey paint on the wood.
