This is an antique centerfold engraving from Frank Leslie's Illustrated Newspaper, a weekly newspaper published in New York in 1886. The prints in this series may have text on the reverse, and are printed on what is called rag paper, an antique paper that is stronger and far more durable than the newspaper material we use today.

CONDITION: VERY GOOD -- The prints in this series are clear, clean, and bright. No creasing or folds (except for centerfold).  Excellent definition. Nice clean, sharp lines.  NOTE: BINDING HOLES AT THE CENTERFOLD  (SEE PICTURES)

This print is about 140 years old and guaranteed to be original. It is an authentic old print from the aforementioned newspaper and NOT A MODERN REPRODUCTION.

The print, including the white border is about 16 x 22.
