Here we take a standard, loud, power hungry Antminer and convert it for home use.
The miner retains two of its original hashboards and is fitted with new Arctic 120mm fans on the intake and the exhaust. The PSU fans are swapped for Noctua premium quiet fans.
The firmware is BraiinsOS. It is set to hash at 60THs using around 1300W in normal mode and 30THs using around 650W in eco mode. You can also hash at any other rate up to about 80THs if the ambient temperature is low enough (20 degrees or less). The board is underclocked to reduce heat and increase efficiency.
Standby current is only 20w.
The firmware lets you mine to two pools at once. I use this to mine to my solo pool and to Kryptex at the same time.
Finally, the miners PSU is modified to give a USB output. This is used to power a Vonets WiFi adapter so the miner can be used wirelessly.
The sound level is really low at 55db at 1.5 metres. It really is quiet!
Can be used as a space heater.
No returns due to the nature of crypographic devices. I would advise not changing the clock speed and voltage on the boards as it is set at a very comfortable underclocked level. The maximum possible power usage with the custom fans would be around 1800 watts before overheating.
These are made to order so please allow around 7 days for delivery.
Just to confirm, the base S19 KPro is pre-used. The fans, WiFi bridge, control board, and USB converter are new. Two healthy hashboards fitted with custom PVC air-guides to maintain the airflow in the enclosure.
