Product Description

These white PP M12 x 500 mm threaded rods are supplied as 2 fully threaded polypropylene plastic rods. Polypropylene is a lightweight plastic with very low moisture absorption and useful electrical insulation, with resistance to many acids and alkalis when the grade suits the environment. This 500 mm format is suited to larger lightweight spacers, panel separation and custom cut threaded sections, especially where a simple non-metallic threaded bar is preferred over a metal fixing. The continuous thread accepts compatible M12 nuts along the rod and can be cut carefully into shorter sections. PP is less stiff than nylon or reinforced nylon, so check thread fit, tightening force and application suitability before use.
