The all-metal chassis also helps dissipate heat more effectively than plastic, allowing the laptop to cool more efficiently during normal use. As with most metal-bodied laptops, however, the underside may become warm while charging or during sustained high CPU workloads. This is normal and simply reflects the metal's ability to transfer heat away from the internal components.

The screen is bright enough for comfortable use in typical indoor environments such as homes, offices, classrooms, and libraries. However, it is not designed for prolonged use in direct sunlight. Like most business laptops—even many modern ones—it is intended primarily for indoor office, school, and professional use rather than outdoor use in bright sunshine.

Every display has been tested and is free from dead pixels, lines, and other display defects.

Please note that, due to the laptop's age, the screen may have very faint surface marks from normal use. We clean every display thoroughly, but some marks may be permanent. These are only visible when the screen is off or under certain lighting conditions. Once the display is switched on, they are not noticeable during normal use.

Battey holds charge: We have confirmed that the battery holds a charge. To test it, we started with a freshly set up laptop, charged the battery to 91%, and played a YouTube video continuously for 30 minutes at 60% screen brightness and 50% volume. This is a demanding test, as it actively uses the processor, display, speakers, and Wi-Fi throughout.

At the end of the 30-minute test, the battery still had approximately 77% charge remaining, indicating that it is in working condition. You may be able to work away from the charger for a short while but generally you will have to keep it plugged in. 

Please note that, as with most older laptops, battery performance during standby or idle periods may not be as efficient as on newer devices. If you are not using the laptop for an extended period, we recommend shutting it down rather than leaving it in sleep mode to help preserve battery life.

Some of the original rubber feet have been replaced with aftermarket feet to ensure the laptop remains stable and doesn't slip when used on a desk.

We have taken clear, high-resolution photos to show the condition as accurately as possible. However, due to lighting and camera angles, some very minor cosmetic marks may not be fully visible in the photos.
