Welcome to the auction of my Grand father’s pre-1940 Breitling chronograph. The Watch comes with an ivory/champagne dial in a 36 mm yellow metal case and a stainless steel back.
There are two additional chronograph dials at the 3 o’clock and 9 o’clock position.
The secondhand of the Watch is also activated by the chronograph and can be stopped, started and reset.
This watch was in regular use up until the late 90s, it had been refitted with a relatively up-to-date brown leather Breitling two-piece strap on 20 mm lugs.
The watch has just been serviced by Watch Doctors and is in good working order and keeps good time, I never risk overwinding it, so it’s important to remember to wind it 2 or 3 times a day.
