This auction is for a stunning black japanned rhinestone dimensional clamper bracelet, 1958 to 1965, attributed to Alice Caviness due to the construction.  The dimensional floral cluster design, features a striking mix of pear cut, marquise, round and multi-faceted rhinestones, all set in a rich black japanned finish that enhances the brilliance and rainbow fire of the watermelon or iridescent ab stones,  The hinged clamper construction provides a comfortable, secure fit, while creating an eye-catching statement on the wrist. Although unsigned the bracelet exhibits the high quality construction and dramatic styling associated with premium American costume jewelry makers of the era.  I have several clamper bracelets that were produced by Caviness and they all appear to be constructed the way this bracelet is.  The interior dimension is 2 1/4", and this sculptural bracelet measures 1 1/8" from top to bottom in the front.  Gorgeous!  PLEASE NOTE:  Although all my jewelry listings will be marked that returns are not accepted (due to eBay's change of policy from 14 day returns to 30 days).
