This is a delightful dress made in Nepal in 100% cotton, dating from the 70s or 80s, I'm not quite sure.
The background colour is black with the design in red and greens with a touch of blue. The dramatic colour palette gives the dress an air of depth and richness.
The contrast panel at the front has a row of buttons and goes down to the gathered waistline.
The skirt has three tiers- the bottom tier has a deep border.
Very full balloon sleeves with a frilled elasticated cuff.
Wear in summer with strappy sandals or will carry you through into Autumn or Winter with high boots.
The label size is M but I have listed it as S/M being vintage and coming up a bit on the small side.
Armpit to armpit 18 iinches; top of shoulder to hem 46 inches.
