Up for auction is a beautiful antique Victorian crazy quilt parlor throw (slumber robe). This piece has been beautifully worked. It is a work "in progress" but large enough to frame or do other things with it. A few of the silk sections have shattered from the old dyes. Still is nice, nice, nice! The backing is lined with two sections of what appear to be a cotton floral printed calico backing. The front is a complex patchwork mosaic of mixed period fabrics joined together by hand-stitched embroidery work along the seams. Please view photos for more details. Measures approx. 66-1/2" long x 32-1/2" wide.

CONDITION: Good antique condition. Fabric colors are vibrant and structure is strong. Minor age-appropriate wear to some delicate silk patches as expected for a textile from the 1890s.

Antique and vintage items typically have wear associated with years of age and use which adds to their charm. Please see all photos as they are considered part of the description. Any display items used in photos are not included in auction unless otherwise stated in item details.

PAYMENT & SHIPPING: Please provide payment within one day of the auction end. If you win more than one item, please wait for invoice so that I can combine shipping.
