Like new. Purchased January 23, 2026 — this monitor has under 80 hours of total use. I was away from January 28 through March 31, so it sat powered off for over two months. Used carefully in a clean, smoke-free home office for light professional work. No dead pixels, no backlight bleed, no scratches on the panel or housing. The display, stand, cables, and box are all in pristine condition.

Display Technology
The UltraFine evo 6K uses LG's Nano IPS Black panel — a second-generation refinement of Nano IPS that adds a dedicated light-absorbing layer to improve contrast and black levels versus standard IPS. Where conventional IPS washes out in dark scenes and shows backlight glow, Nano IPS Black delivers an LG-rated 2000:1 native contrast (independent reviewers measure ~1500–1700:1 in practice) — well above traditional IPS — while keeping the wide color gamut and viewing-angle consistency the technology is known for. It gets meaningfully closer to OLED-class blacks without the permanent burn-in that affects OLED panels — useful for pros who leave reference images, palettes, or UI on screen for long stretches.
At 6K (6144×3456), the display packs over 21 million pixels at 224 PPI — a touch denser than the now-discontinued Apple Pro Display XDR's 218 PPI, and 156% more pixels than standard 4K. Multi-Source & Dynamic Features

Picture-by-Picture (PbP) splits the screen to show two sources side by side; Picture-in-Picture (PiP) overlays a second input as a floating window.
