Antique Victorian American Waltham Watch Company 1891 Pocket Watch With Pink & White Fancy Dial, Gold Or Gold Tone Embellishments, And 60 Second Sub-Dial
I'm not an expert. Not sure if this is a ladies or men's watch so I indicated unisex above. Below are some observations.
This watch started to run (ran for 3 or 4 seconds) when I opened the cover to photograph the movement. I wanted to capture that on video so gently wound the crown and it started to run again as shown in the video. The crown turned nicely but I didn't want to do any harm so that's all I did. Not tested for accuracy. This is in as found condition and has been in my collection for several years.
The diameter of the case is about 32-34 mm depending on where you're measuring, see the photos with the ruler for an idea of size.
It looks like this is their 1891 model and this particular watch was manufactured in 1894, not 100% certain.
There are various areas with numbers that I tried to zoom in on.
I think the cracks are in the dial, but I can't tell for sure. The one hand is detached and may be broken.
Please read the condition description. Feel free to ask for additional photos.
