Up for sale is a classic piece of toy history: a vintage 1971 Gilbert Motorized Erector Set, Mark 20, manufactured by the Gilbert Division of Gabriel Industries, Inc. out of Hagerstown, MD.
Condition & Completeness Details:
• Box: Shows wear typical for its age, including edge wear, scuffs, some minor tearing/creasing, and tape residue on the bottom panel. Graphics are still bright and clear.
• Manuals/Paperwork: Includes the original "Your Model-Building Guide" booklet and a "Separate Parts Sheet." The paperwork shows some creasing, minor tearing, and age-related discoloration, but remains fully legible.
• Contents: Includes a large assortment of vintage metal girders, base plates (red, blue, yellow/cream), wheels, nuts, bolts, brackets, and the clear plastic battery-operated motor housing.
• Testing Status: The motor is untested and requires 2 "D" cell batteries (not included).
