This is a very rare child's WW2 pea coat that was hand made in dark blue wool. It has a shoulder insignia of an embroidered anchor with "USN" underneath it. The navy blue doesn't show up very well in the photos, it looks darker than it really is. It is 19" from shoulder seam to hem in the front and it is 14.5" across the back from armpit to armpit, the sleeve is 13" from shoulder seam to hem. It has some military buttons on the front and back. There are 3 button holes on each side in the front, yet only 2 buttons on each side. The back has a belt with a center button, but looks like it once had another button on each side of that one. The lining is dark blue and red. I bought this at the estate sale of an elderly lady that had been a seamstress. I didn't see any moth holes or any other issues.  I always mention anything I find wrong with the items I list, but sometimes I don't see everything, please check out all the photos, I want the new owner to be happy. It will be well packed and coming from Oregon, so might cost more to ship.

Check out my other fun stuff, I will combine shipping costs if you buy more than one item, ask for an invoice then just wait for the invoice before you pay, if you pay before I combine shipping I can't give you the discount. Payment is due within 3 days of closing. I don't charge for handling, just the shipping cost, I have no control over the shipping cost. I enter the actual weight of the package and E Bay calculates how much it will cost to go from my zip code (Oregon) to yours. If it seems excessive, it is just due to where you live and the weight of the package. I will offer a second shipping option if it might be cheaper. My goal is to get items to you undamaged, but I have received many items broken, the post office is not very careful I've discovered. If something arrives and the box looks like it's been mishandled, please take a photo, then if there is damage get a photo of the damage and send these to me so I can start a claim. You will receive your refund but you will need to hold on to the item and the packaging until it is settled. As always I want you satisfied and accept returns. Thanks for looking.
