Up for sale is a remarkably clean, factory-original (OEM) partial set of hood rocket ornaments for the iconic 1957 Chevrolet passenger car lineup. Unlike modern aftermarket reproductions, these are authentic GM components stamped with original factory casting codes (Nos. 3738981-LH, 3738982-RH, & 3738983-LH) on the reverse sides. Finding original, uninstalled factory chrome pieces with perfect mounting studs is exceptionally tough, making this an ideal acquisition to complete your vintage Tri-Five restoration project.

Condition & Storage Wear Breakdown:

• Never Installed: These parts show no evidence of previous vehicle mounting. The backside mounting studs, finer machine threads, and retaining channels are completely clean and free of tool marks or installation torque damage.
• Structural State: Great condition. All casting elements are physically solid, rigid, and completely free from metal fatigue, broken alignment tabs, or structural cracks.
• Chrome Finish & Patina: The chrome faces retain a beautiful factory reflection. Because they were stored loosely outside of an original box over the decades, slight cosmetic wear from storage age is present. This consists of faint, light surface storage scuffs alongside areas of very small, fine pitting dots visible within the casting recesses upon close inspection.
• Inclusions: Includes the 5 separate casting components pictured (two main bodies, two fin tips, and one backing plate). No additional mounting nuts or sealing gaskets are supplied.
