Beautiful Unique Vintage Chinese Plique-a-Jour known as "shotai shippo" in Japanese or "Letting in the Light" in French. this structure is formed brass metal cells filled with colored transparent enamel (like stained glass) - this bowl features Koi Fish and flowers. Bowl has one slight dent (hard to tell) tried to capture in picture but does not detract from the lovely piece! I also have a smaller bowl in my store. Great gift idea!
