the shiki1000 is heavy duty freight car built by nippon sharyo for the then JNR and designed to carry large loads in a low riding position at the normal freight train operating speed pf 75 kph........3 wagons were constructed in the late 1970s with load capacity of 55 tons; unladen weight of the wagon is 51 tons....... major power transformer manufacturers of the japanese electrical industry are the typical load providers as the cars are still in service.........
the transformer loads for this model require rudimentary assembly which may necessitate use of adhesive - canopy glue 560 is a good choice......
