A mass flow controller model 5850TR made by Brooks Instruments in Holland.
Model no: 5850TRC113BAA11
It appears to be unused as it still has some of its original packaging, the compression fittings in the connectors appear to be unused and the ribbon cable has not been terminated.
I have no means to test this so it is sold as seen.
Weight 650g
Part Number Breakdown
- 5850TR: Base Model. An elastomer-sealed, rugged Brooks 5850TR Thermal Mass Flow Controller built for high-pressure gas process metering up to 100 bar (1500 psi). [1]
- C: Valve Configuration. Indicates a Normally Closed control valve configuration. The valve remains shut until a setpoint signal is applied or if electrical power is lost. [1]
- 113: Mechanical Fitting Connection. Standard configuration designating 1/4-inch Tube Compression fittings for process gas inlet and outlet lines.
- B: O-Ring and Valve Seat Elastomer. Standard Buna-N (Nitrile) seals. This elastomer provides excellent resistance to petroleum-based oils, water, and select inert gases, but restricts use with highly corrosive or high-temperature gases.
- A: Input / Output Control Signal. Analogue configuration for 0–5 Vdc setpoint input and 0–5 Vdc flow output monitoring.
- A: Electrical Connection / Connector Style. Built with a standard D-Sub Connector interface (typically 15-pin for the 5850 series lineage) located on top of the device enclosure.
- 11: Factory Revision / Sub-Model Identifier. Internal factory code tracking the specific internal PC board modification assembly and mechanical design variation.
