It was previously mounted and displayed in a frame dating from the early 20th century. It has been part of our permanent collection for decades and is now being offered to our many eBay customers. The embroidery is in excellent condition and showing only minor wear commensurate with its age. While displayed during our ownership, the collar was kept out of bright light and the embroidery still retains its excellent colors. The 5 panel intricately embroidered butterfly design collar measures approximately 10 1/2 inches in circumference. Evidence of previous mounting on the reverse.
