This is a Decatur Genesis VP Handheld (GVP) K-Band Radar Gun.  Radar is in fair physical condition with typical signs of use and wear from being a field-used unit.  Most of the wear is on the edges/corners of the unit from handling and storage.  This is a very nice small, compact and light radar. 

Radar powers on and passes all self tests. I aimed it at several moving objects and it was able to record speed. Unit reports accurate speed for test tuning forks (one included). The LCD display is working properly, no missing elements with a working backlight and all audio functions work as intended. All the buttons on the control pad are functional.  This unit has the "FASTest" target tracking option installed as well, it can be turned on through the setup menu or simply by pressing the "FAST" button. 

Unit operates off of two standard Black & Decker VersaPak batteries. These batteries are inexpensive and easily obtained, saving you hundreds of dollars in replacement battery costs since the design is not proprietary.  The batteries included were purchased recently and are in new condition, although with any battery they are sold with no guarantees on overall life or longevity.  The VP Gold batteries included are sold as-is, they are older and many not hold a charge as well as the new ones purchased.

This unit reports in MPH (miles-per-hour) speeds only, I do not know if it can be converted. Do your research prior to purchasing if you need this in different standards as I can't answer that question.
